The Boston Terrier was originally bred as a companion dog. They bond well equally to one person or a family. My Boston Terriers are predominantly seal and white and black brindle and white, just as the CKC standard says they should be. They are a loving, tender yet tough and versatile small breed dog making them suitable for everyone who is wanting to add a slice of heaven to their family. Boston Terriers that are from Legend Kennels are happy, well adjusted even tempered beautifully stunning dogs. My Boston Terriers average weight, once full grown, is about 20lbs. They have good bone and are solid dogs. They have short coats and are easy to groom with the ocasional bath and brushing. Boston Terriers do require some excercise, a 15-20 minute walk each day is ideal. They do not do well in extreme temperatures, hot or cold. and therefor, I request any puppy leaving here never be left outdoors for any extended period of time. Boston Terriers are not your typical yappy small dog, they bark briefly, for example, to warn you when someone is at the door. Boston Terriers are oblivious to the fact they are small, they verily believe they rule the roost...perfect example of a big dog in a small dogs body. Beware of people who claim to be breeders and then offer Boston Terriers that are colours such as grey, blue, and champagne. These not true breeders recognized by the CKC, they are backyard breeders who are not breeding dogs to better the breed but are instead breeding dogs with genetic faults to make some money. These people show severe disregard and neglect towards the breed. Stud service available to approved bitches.
